Nothing on Thursday and Friday, as my RSI took exception to the blood sample for no readily apparent reason. Got it to 18044 yesterday and 18399 today, so 200 words exactly yesterday and 355 today. Let's see how long I can keep this up...

Nice! Progress is progress, however you measure it.

I'm currently rereading "Spindrift" (a favorite of mine), so news of possible fresh material is welcome, indeed

Slow and erratic, but I *am* writing occasionally, which is better than nothing.

Alas, there will be no more Spindrift, because the sales figures just don't make it viable to write the third book (I didn't know when I wrote it that a large chunk of romance fandom refuses point blank to read first person POV).

I have to admit that I tend to avoid first person, as well, just because it's so easy to do it badly. For every one like "Spindrift," there are a dozen that read like something I'd expect to find on Sticky Pen.

Bummer about those characters, though. I'd love to catch up with them a few years down the line and see what they're up to. Maybe you could write a short story, just for me? My birthday's coming up in February. Just around the corner, really. :-)
