no more for now, as now typing one-handed -- failed to keep cloth between thumb and oven tray, mike for dragon now being charged... (am okay, but keeping nice white patch of thumb under water for rest of evening)

Ow! I hope the thumb heals quickly. Burns are no fun at all. :(

Getting it under cold water within a few seconds and keeping it there for the next couple of hours seems to have helped a lot. There's a small second degree burn, but there's been almost no pain and I expect it to heal fairly quickly. I'm keeping a plaster on it mostly to protect it from being bumped.
