Obviously I have a rather large bias here, but I think it's an interesting analysis with some useful things to say, and worth the attention of a few people on my flist:

And thank you. I've got to go back and clarify a few things, re: Laura's response, but she and I read so differently and read such different books that I still think my points are really valid--certainly for my reading experience!
