Torchwood series 2 on sale at Play

Play has apparently gone mad -- they are currently listing the Region 2 boxed set of Torchwood series 2 for pre-order at 14.99 rather than the list price of 49.99:

There has been some speculation as to whether this is an error; if it is they can cancel the order. But it's been like that for a day or two, so it may well be real. The set is due for release on 30 June.

ETA: The evil giant South American river still has the boxed set of series 1 at 22 quid. I am Not Pleased with them at the moment, but since there is a massive saving right now, here's the link: Torchwood : Complete BBC Series 1 Box Set [2006]

more fannish squee

This evening's fannish gathering was for the first episode and Confidential of the new season of Who -- and for the first three episodes of the first Dalek story, being repeated on BBC4 as a tribute to Verity Lambert. Too tired to comment, other than I mostly liked, and Donna was ever so much less annoying than last time round. However, there was one resurfacing of a past character that made me want to get out the stake and whittle a nice sharp point on it...
