Snow!

There is white stuff out there this morning, looking remarkably pretty in the bright sunshine under a clear blue sky. I think this is the first time I've seen lying snow here; it's been mostly a mild winter so far, though we've had a number of hard frosts and the occasional hailstorm.

fannish wibble

Been a good weekend for fannish wibble. The gang went to see Victoria Baths this afternoon, and squeed mightily even though most of the areas used in filming Life On Mars are currently not publicly accessible. When we got back to the house we watched "Blake's Junction 7", which was silly but fun. I got to talk through an idea for a Torchwood fic, and we rewatched the Jack and Ianto segments of "Fragments" to check on some timeline details, which turned out to work for the storyline I had in mind. I hope I can actually remember everything that we came up with long enough to get to the story (can't write it for a few days yet, owing to attack of Real Life this week). Then dinner at the local Japanese restaurant, which glory be had something sufficiently westernised on the menu for me to cope with it.
