I friends-locked it in a vain attempt to avoid corrupting all those young LJers who have not yet friendsed me.

It seems inevitable that the Hoka fans will eventually think of the obvious fan-related ap.

Have you *seen* some of the stuff the young are putting on their LJs?

And I hate to say this, but I believe that certain Star Wars fans at least have long since thought of the obvious application, and possibly put it into practice. The version I heard about was at least done with a certain amount of gleeful cycnicism involved...

No, actually.

I think there may be a slight difference how people see teens sharing images with other teens and some middle-aged male recluse doing the same thing.

This is true. Being a middle-aged female recluse makes me slightly less aware of this, particularly as I have been involved in activities where the MMFRs have to go out of their way to avoid having the teen porn thrust upon them, as it were.

My spellchecker wanted to do things that are illegal in six states and two provinces to the spelling of the names of the contributors of the next Datlow anthology.

Various nonfiction procedural shows lead me to believe that in the right light, I could be fit into profiles I have no desire to be fit into [1], so I am careful to stay aloof.

I did wonder a bit what would happen when I called in that body a while back but I wasn't going to leave him there and apparently he was still alive.

Yes. There is the problem of fitting the profile of "convenient scapegoat". And it does happen, as some of the more notorious miscarriage of justice cases demonstrate.
